COMPOSITION / CONTENT
Cataflam 25 mgEach tablet contains diclofenac potassium (diclofenac potassium) 25 mg.Cataflam 50 mgEach tablet contains diclofenac potassium (diclofenac potassium) 50 mg.
PHARMACOLOGY (HOW DRUGS)
Cataflam containing potassium diclofenac, a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Cataflam have the effect of reducing pain (analgesic), suppress inflammation (anti-inflammatory) and reduce fever (antipyretics). Cataflam inhibit prostaglandin synthesis involved in the mechanism of the onset major pain, inflammation (swelling) and fever.
INDICATIONS / USE
Indications Cataflam is:Treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.The treatment of pain caused by various conditions, including menstrual pain.Short-term treatment of acute migraine attacks.Treatment of postoperative pain and inflammation, such as dental surgery and bone surgery.
CONTRAINDICATIONC
Cataflam should not be given to:Patients who are hypersensitive to Cataflam or diclofenac potassium.Patients with stomach and intestinal ulcers (peptic ulcer), bleeding, perforation, severe liver failure, severe renal failure or severe heart failure.Patients who have a history of asthma, urticaria, or allergic reaction after getting therapy aspirin or other NSAIDs.The third trimester of pregnancy (the final trimester).
DOSAGE AND RULES FOR USE
Ask your doctor about the dosage and the rules of use Cataflam.The usual dose given to adults is Cataflam 25-50 mg, 2-3 times a day.Cataflam is not recommended for children.
SIDE EFFECTS
Cataflam side effects include headache, dizziness, vertigo, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, frequent flatulence, anorexia, and heartburn / stomach. Hypersensitivity or allergic reactions of mild to severe can occur, with symptoms: shortness of breath, swelling in the face, lips, tongue and throat, redness of the skin.WARNING AND CAUTION
